Who is “She”?
Well, I am “She”. I am 33, single and living in Vancouver. I have two younger brothers who are both getting married this summer to amazing girls, and one incredible two-year-old nephew, who is one of the cutest, smartest and funniest kids ever! (My girlfriends have the other cutest, smartest and funniest kids.) I have a ton of great and interesting friends, I am into art, food, literature, music, and I think most would agree, I usually have a lot to say, we’ll see…
There has to be a reason for the blog name, what does it mean?
Yes there is a back story, at my work we have what are called the “Shining Star Awards” based on our company’s core values. Long story short I won the “Positive Attitude” award, for those that know me well, this came as a bit of a surprise (to me too). In fact more than a few people asked if perhaps I won it ironically. I did not. I just happen to be very good at faking positivity when necessary. It’s not that I am a negative person, I am a realist, and with realism comes a bit of cynicism.
FYI – I told Ang about your “award”… we had a great laugh over it, raised our glasses to the idea of that (coming from people that knew you at A), laughed some more… then we stopped… he stared at me with his mouth open and said “so… WHAT??? Really?”
